Who we are and what this page covers

Tact Firm LLC ("Tact", "we") is a retention marketing firm for independent dispensaries.

This page explains what tactfirm.com collects, why, where it goes, and how to reach us about it. It covers the Retention Audit form, the booking calendar, the analytics on the site and the site's hosting.

The last section explains how consent is collected for the text and email programs we run for dispensaries.

What the audit form collects

The Retention Audit form asks for your name, your work email, your dispensary's name, its number of store locations, its POS system, its CRM or loyalty platform, its state, and anything else you choose to tell us. It does not ask for a phone number.

We use your answers to reply to you and to prepare your audit. We also record the date and time you sent the form.

To stop abuse, the form limits how often one IP address can send it. That check uses your IP address in the server's memory only and is never saved with your request.

Where your request goes

When you send the form, your answers go to two places: a record in Tact's Notion workspace, where we track audit requests, and an email alert to our team, sent through SendGrid. When we reply, we write to the work email you gave us.

We do not sell or rent your details. We share them only with the service providers named on this page, who handle them for us.

The site's own logs record whether a request worked, never what you typed.

Booking a call

The booking calendar on this site is run by Calendly. If you book a call, Calendly collects the details its booking form asks for, under Calendly's privacy policy (opens in a new tab), and tells us about the booking so we can meet you.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to learn how people use the site. Both load only after the page has finished loading. Both use cookies and similar storage in your browser.

Google Analytics records the pages you visit, how long you stay, how you arrived, your device and browser type, and your approximate location. We also send it a few events: a click on an audit button (with the button's label and link), starting the form, sending the form, and booking a call. These events never carry your form answers.

Google signals is on for our Google Analytics property, so Google may use its own account data to report on our visitors in aggregate and for ads personalization, under Google's policy; you can turn ads personalization off in your Google account.

Microsoft Clarity records how you scroll, click and move through a page, as session recordings and heatmaps, so we can see where the page is unclear. Clarity masks the text you type into the form, so your answers are not in its recordings.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings. Google offers a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on (opens in a new tab). To keep Clarity from recording your visits, block its cookies or scripts for this site in your browser; Microsoft's privacy statement (opens in a new tab) explains Clarity's own choices.

Hosting and logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver each page and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes every request, including your IP address, the page asked for and your browser's details, and keeps request logs under Cloudflare's privacy policy (opens in a new tab).

How long we keep your details

We keep your audit request in our records until you ask us to delete it. To have it deleted, email us and we will remove it.

Your choices and how to reach us

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email steve@tactfirm.com from the address you used, and tell us what you would like us to do.

If the law where you live gives you further rights, write to the same address and we will respond as that law requires.

Children

This site is for owners and operators of licensed dispensaries. It is not directed to anyone under twenty-one, the age for adult-use cannabis, and we do not knowingly collect details from anyone under twenty-one.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when the site or our practices change. The date at the top shows when it last changed.

Proof of consent

Tact runs text and email programs for dispensaries, sent from each dispensary's own customer platform.

We message only customers who opted in with that dispensary, for example by joining its loyalty program in store or online. The dispensary's platform records each opt-in with its date and time.

Anyone can stop at any time. To stop texts, reply STOP to any text. To stop emails, use the unsubscribe link in any email. The platform records each opt-out, and later messages respect it. Message and data rates may apply.

The audit form on this site does not ask for a phone number, and we reply to audit requests by email.
